Dharamshala, May 16: Just four days of turnaround time as Punjab Kings will host Delhi Capitals for round two showdown in match 64 of IPL 2023 at the HPCA Stadium in Dharamshala on Wednesday (May 17).
Shikhar Dhawan-led PBKS will look to carry winning momentum in the playoff race after their recent result against the Delhi-based side last weekend, while David Warner’s DC look bounce back after defeat to the Punjab-based side and finish the season on a high.

As it stands, PBKS occupy the eighth spot and will be desperate to climb up the table as the tournament reaches climax stage, while DC are in tenth position in the IPL 2023 points table and can only spoil other teams chances to reach the playoff.
Punjab Kings will be a confident side following the reverse fixture result against DC, but will be wary of their recent record against DC. However, their edge over the Delhi-based side during their visits to the HPCA Stadium in Dharamshala is another plus for PBKS.
In the 31 meetings between the two sides in IPL so far, PBKS have won 16 matches against DC, who have won 15. However, DC hold the advantage in recent meetings, having beaten the PBKS four times in the last 6 matches.
In Dharamshala at the HPCA Stadium, DC and PBKS have clashed 3 times so far. And it’s PBKS that hold the slight edge, having won at their second home 2 times against DC, who have won once during their three visits to Dharamshala to face the Punjab-based franchise.
