Punjab Kings pacer Kagiso Rabada has taken his 100th IPL wicket in the match against Gujarat Titans on Thursday (April 14).
The Punjab pacer has played for the first time this season in the match and picked up the dangerous Wriddhiman Saha to reach the milestone. He is also the fastest player in IPL to get to 100 wickets, on the 64th inning.

Rabada, who has played for Delhi Capitals and Punjab Kings in the IPL so far, thus becomes the 20th bowler to reach three figures of wickets in the IPL.
Rabada made his IPL debut for Delhi Capitals in 2017 and played for them till the IPL 2021 season. Punjab Kings acquired the Proteas speedster last season for INR 9.25 crore and so far he has been a vital part of the Punjab zigsaw.
Kagiso Rabada so far has played 65 matches in IPL and has 100 wickets to his name. The South African bowler has 4+ wickets on 6 occasions, with his best bowling figure being 4/21.

The 27-year-old has also become the first South African bowler to pick up 100 IPL wickets. The closest Proteas player to him is Dale Steyn, who picked up 97 wickets in the tournament.
Rabada is also the 5th overseas player to cross the three-figure mark in the IPL wickets tally.
