Punjab Kings are set to take on Mumbai Indians in Match 33 of IPL 2024 on Thursday (April 18) at the Mullanpur Stadium.
Punjab and Mumbai both are struggling at the bottom end of the table. PBKS are currently placed 8th with 4 points in six matches, same as MI but the Paltans are 9th due to an inferior net run rate.

Punjab Kings brought in Atharva Taide and Liam Livingstone in the last match and the duo are likely to keep their place. Captain Shikhar Dhawan missed out due to an issue but he is likely to return for the Mumbai match. Ashutosh Sharma played a valiant knock after coming on as an impact player and the 25-year-old is poised to keep his place.
Mumbai Indians suffered a defeat at the hands of CSK in the last match. They are likely to field the same team from last match and will be hoping to get back to winning ways, as a defeat would be damaging for Hardik Pandya and his troops. Their overseas four have the perfect combination and are set to feature against PBKS as well. Piyush Chawla can return as an impact player as Akash Madhwal has been way expensive so far.
