Punjab Kings are up against Mumbai Indians in the IPL 2024 match today at the Mullanpur Stadium.
In this crucial match, Punjab Kings are missing their captain Shikhar Dhawan again. The southpaw didn't captain the team in the last match and is out again today as Sam Curran is captaining the team against the Paltans.

Shikhar Dhawan is out with an injury, as it was confirmed by PBKS coach Sunil Joshi. The veteran has been struggling with a shoulder problem and is currently in rehabilitation.
"Regarding Shikhar, the medical team will update. As for now, he is under rehab," Joshi said at the pre-match press conference on Wednesday.
Sam Curran, the England all-rounder, is captaining the match against MI and he won the toss. The Englishman has decided to bowl first.
"We will have a bowl. Keeping up with the trend of the tournament. Shikhar is not well, so that's the only injury and Rilee comes in for Jonny today. It is not nice to lose the close games but we are doing a lot of things right. Taide drops out of the side, just a couple of tactical changes," Curran said during Toss.
Rilee Rossouw has come in the Punjab side replacing Jonny Bairstow. Atharva Taide is also out and Prabhsimran Singh is promoted to first team from Impact Player position.
