PBKS vs RCB: KKR discard Suyash Sharma reels Punjab batters with 3 Wickets, then gives bold Statement

By MyKhel Staff

RCB spinner Suyash Sharma bowled a magnificent spell to rattle Punjab Kings in the IPL 2025 Qualifier 1 on Thursday (May 29).

Sharma bowled excellently in the middle overs and picked up 3 wickets to dismantle the PBKS middle order, as Shreyas Iyer's team skittled for just 101 runs.

Sharma got the crucial wickets of Shashank Singh and Musheer Khan in the same over, and then knocked over Marcus Stoinis, as the Australian was the highest scorer for PBKS with 26 runs. In the end, the 22-year-old ended up with a figure of 3 for 17 in his three overs.

And during the innings break, the Delhi bowler opened up on his performance, stating his hard work behind the success. Sharma was released by KKR but since joining RCB, he has produced the goods for the team. In 13 matches, Suyash has picked up 8 wickets, with his best figures coming in the latest encounter.

"Just tried to execute the plan by our coach. Was feeling very good today while bowling. No one wasn't able to read my googlies today, that is what I feel. We just tried to treat it as a normal match, never considered as if we are playing a semi-final. I have worked hard on my bowling," Sharma said.

As RCB require a mere 102 runs, the star-studded batting lineup is expected to chase it, which will take them straight to the Final. For PBKS, the show is not over as a defeat would still keep them in the tournament.
