PBKS vs RR, IPL 2023 Match 66: HPCA Stadium Dharamshala Pitch Report and Weather Forecast

Punjab Kings host Rajasthan Royals in match 66 of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 at the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association (HPCA) Stadium in Dharamshala on Friday (May 19) with match set to start at 7:30 PM IST.

PBKS led by Shikhar Dhawan are fresh from their seventh loss of the campaign, while Sanju Samson-led RR also head into the match on the back of their seventh defeat of this season. Both PBKS and RR have won 6 of 13 matches so far.

The two sides are set to meet for the second time this season. In the reverse fixture last month at Baraspara Stadium in Guwahati, PBKS rode on Prabhsimran Singh and Shikhar Dhawan fifties to set a challenging target of 198 before Nathan Ellis' four-wicket haul restricted RR to 192.

The two sides will now clash in the second match of this season at the second home of PBKS - HPCA Stadium in Dharamshala, which will host it's eleventh Indian Premier League match.

In the only IPL 2023 match hosted so far at the venue, Delhi Capitals defended a total of 213 against Punjab Kings, who reached 198 in the allotted 20 overs. For DC, Rilee Rossouw top-scored with an unbeaten 82, while Liam Livingstone top-scored for PBKS with 94.
