PBKS vs RR IPL 2024 Playing 11: Rajasthan Royals are set to take on Punjab Kings in Match 27 of IPL 2024 on Saturday (April 13) at the Maharaja Yadavindra Singh International Cricket Stadium in Mullanpur.
Rajasthan Royals suffered their first defeat in the last match, but remain top of the table with 8 points in five matches. Punjab Kings are currently placed 8th in the table with 4 points in five matches.

Punjab Kings will be hoping to get back to winning ways after coming so close against Sunrisers Hyderabad in the last match. Rajasthan also suffered a defeat at the hands of Gujarat Titans, and it was probably the first sight of vulnerability for Sanju Samson's team this season. They had the match at their pocket but poor bowling in last two overs led to a shocking defeat.
The Punjab Kings currently have one injury in their team as Liam Livingstone missed the last match. The England all-rounder may return for this one but nothing is confirmed yet.
Punjab came close in the last match but fell short of just 2 runs. The biggest positive for them has been the form of Shashank Singh and Ashutosh Sharma, two Indian uncapped players, who have thrived in the last two matches. Kings still require better contributions from star players like Sam Curran and Jonny Bairstow.
Rajasthan Royals have Sandeep Sharma out with a niggle but the pacer may return for the upcoming match. Kuldeep Sen bowled excellently in the last match but his expensive 19th over cost them badly, but the pacer looks set to play against Punjab Kings.
Yashasvi Jaiswal's off form is a big concern for RR and the southpaw needs a return to scoring runs. The performances of Ravichandran Ashwin haven't been best either and the veteran off-spinner would aim for a better return against his old team.
