Sunrisers Hyderabad youngster Nitish Kumar Reddy has announced himself in the world of IPL with a magnificent half century against Punjab Kings on Tuesday (April 9).

SRH were struggling after being put into bat by the Kings. They lost three wickets in the powerplay and were in deep trouble.

But Nitish Kumar Reddy has rescued his team with a fantastic knock. The 20-year-old from Vizag came into bat at no. 4 and has played a brilliant knock for the Orange Army.

Reddy scored his maiden T20 fifty in the SRH colours and showcased his mettle with some excellent shots. He took on the Punjab pacer Sam Curran, and then clubbed Harpreet Brar across the park en route to his knock.

In one over of Harpreet Brar, the batter went 4,6,4,6 and got to his maiden IPL fifty with a maximum. The youngster finally got dismissed after scoring 64 off 3y balls and he hit 4 fours and 5 sixes in it.

Fans were in awe of Nitish's special innings and took to social media in admiration of the young player. Nitish Kumar Reddy was bought by SRH at his base price of Rs 20 Lakh and idolizes Virat Kohli.
