By PTI

Abu Dhabi, Dec 18: Doing its bit for the Peshawar victims, Pakistan cricket has decided to donate some share of its earnings from the fourth ODI against New Zealand to the families of the children, who lost their lives in the terrorist attack at the Army school.

The Pakistani Taliban attacked innocent school children on Tuesday, which resulted in atleast 141 deaths of which 132 are said to be children. The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) tried to postpone the match but said it was "constrained" by media commitments and broadcast tie-ups.

"We will donate proceeds of the match to the families and towards rebuilding the school," the PCB said.

Pakistan have played all of their home matches in the UAE since 2009, when a bus carrying the Sri Lankan team on its way to Lahore's Gaddafi Stadium was attacked by gunmen.

"We are playing outside Pakistan only because of the threat of terrorism at home," said the PCB spokesman, who added that black armbands would be worn by the players, here yesterday.

"If we allow terrorists to disrupt our matches abroad, then all will be lost."
