PCB governing board to meet today in Islamabad

Lahore, May 13 (UNI) The governing body of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) will today discuss 13-point agenda, including the ongoing project of Pindi Cricket Stadium, in a meeting in Islamabad.

PCB chairman Nasim Ashraf will preside over the meeting.

''A 13-point agenda will be discussed in the meeting.

Development plans, financial matters and ongoing project of Pindi Cricket Stadium, which has to be completed before August 1, will also be discussed,'' a source told 'The Nation'.

He said Rawalpindi is the third venue of the International Cricket Council (ICC) Champions Trophy to be played in the country in September.

''The governing board will also take presentation on women's cricket and domestic activities. The board will also deliberate on the latest developments regarding the Australian tour to Pakistan and the infrastructure development. The budget of 2008-09 will also be part of the meeting agenda,'' the source added.

All the board members including Farooq Rehmat Ullah, Lt Gen (r) Munir Hafiz, Justice Chaudhry Ejaz Yousaf, Ijaz Butt, Shakeel Sheikh and Mian Muhammad Munir will attend the meeting.
