The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has denied reports about removing Imran Khan's name from an enclosure at Lahore's Gaddafi Stadium.
Some people believed his name was being taken down because of his legal troubles and time in jail. Rumors about the removal started because Imran Khan was jailed in a corruption case. He and his wife, Bushra Bibi, were sentenced in January 2024.

The PCB has now cleared the confusion. A PCB official said, "No names have been changed or removed. Everything remains the same." The Imran Khan Enclosure, named after the 1992 World Cup-winning captain, is still there.
Meanwhile, the PCB is preparing Gaddafi Stadium for the 2025 Champions Trophy, which starts on February 19. The stadium will be handed over to the ICC on February 11 for final branding.
Other stadiums, like Karachi's National Stadium and Rawalpindi Stadium, are also being upgraded. However, due to security concerns, India's matches will be held in Dubai and the final shall be also played there if Rohit Sharma and team reaches the final.
The latest reports from Pakistan suggest that PCB chief Mohsin Naqvi is also going to attend a press conference on Friday and provide the much-needed update on the stadium renovation.
PCB is yet to name the Pakistan squad for the Champions Trophy and many believe the team may also be announced on the same day. Pakistan will play a tri-nation series with New Zealand and South Africa ahead of the Champions Trophy.
