Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) decided to clear out their unsold 2022 T20 World Cup jerseys and put up an advertisement for that on their social media handle.
PCB posted on X (formerly Twitter) regarding the 2022 T20 WC Thunder jerseys. The post included a special offer for the fans as well.

The T20 World Cup 2024 is around the corner as it starts from June 1 in West Indies and USA. Pakistan will be donning a new jersey for the upcoming tournament, but ahead of the new jersey launch, PCB's ploy to clear out their unsold previous edition's jerseys backfired.
They offered a free jersey of the 2022 WC edition with every two jerseys bought, buy 2 and get 1 free, but the fans seemed reluctant to spend money on the old jersey.
Some of the fans were baffled by the post and asked them on the practicality of buying 2022 jerseys, while others bashed them for trying to make money by giving discounts. Here are some of the reactions from the fans-
