The umpires are out on the field again for inspection and unfortunately the thick cloud cover is back again with the rain yet to arrive!

Both Shaheen Afridi and Babar Azam meetup at the pitch and asses the turf for today's match. Shaheen will like the fact that the pitch and conducive for the pacers and would like to win the vital toss and bowl first. We are still awaiting for further official update

The ground inspection by the umpires is on as they had a long chat with the groundsman and are now going through the ground if it's dry enough to start the match

The umpires are out in the middle for the pitch inspection. As per update from the centre, groundsmen have done a good job of drying up the ground but parts of it maybe still a bit wet.
The pitch is a bit soft and damp at the moment while a strong breeze is blowing at the venue and experts reckon that the team winning toss must bowl first

The cloud cover has reduced and the sun is shining over the venue again! However, the groundsmen just covered one of the pitches, not sure what's the reason behind it
The covers are taken off again, suggesting the rain has stopped but there's still a thick cover of dark clouds over the Pindi stadium!

There's a further update from the centre! The next inspection by the umpires is at 2:30 PM local time while groundsmen are taking the cover off the pitch and preparing the wicket and the outfield! We are likely to see a reduced match
