Peshawar Zalmi vs Quetta Gladiators PSL 2024 Highlights: Peshawar Zalmi defeated Quetta Gladiators by 76 runs in match number 25 of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2024 at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium on Friday, March 8. With the win, Peshawar maintained their clean slate of making it to the all PSL playoffs.
Peshawar have jumped to second spot with the win. They have 11 points from nine matches. The Babar Azam-led side play Karachi Kings in their last league match on Monday, March 11.

On the other hand, Quetta Gladiators slipped to fourth spot. They face Lahore and Multan in their last two league games. Multan have already qualified, while Lahore are out of the playoffs race.
Peshawar Zalmi has won by 76 runs and qyalified for the playoffs once again. The only team to qualify for the playoffs in all the nine editions of PSL. Khurram gets his second wicket by dismissing Abrar for a 2-ball duck after a catch from Babar Azam at mid-off. Babar Azam is thrilled and Peshawar are a happy bunch. Quetta bundled out for 120 in 17.5 overs.

Khurram Shahzad strikes to remove Sohail Khan (7 off 8) and Quetta are nine down for 120 now. Sharp shot ball as Sohail aimed to pull it over fine leg, but an edge lands into the gloves of keeper.
Second wicket for Mehran. Amir (13 off 8) tried clear the mid-wicket boundary rope but could not connect properly, a good catch by Ayub: QG: 119/8 in 17 overs.
Another solid drive through extra cover to end the 16th over form Jamal for a boundary. Amir has played two very good shots, but the match has already slipped from the hands of Quetta. QG: 113/7 in 16 overs.

The staright hit from Evans off Jamal had a boundary written all over it but Powell covers massive ground from long-on and takes a running catch. Even Jamal can not believe his luck. Quicker one from Ayub and Evans makes room to drive it past extra cover for a four. Five singles follow to make it nine from the over. QG: 76/4 in 10 overs. Peshawar were 103/3 at the same stage.
Nafay follows Roussouw. Pulls straight into the hands of Haris at deep midwicket boundary. Quetta in trouble. QG: 61/4 in 8 overs.
Quetta have lost their third wicket now. Ayub was brought back and he answers to the call. Roussouw's poor PSL 2024 season continues. He tried breaking the shackle by coming down the ground but ended up giving a simple catch to the deep midwicket fielder. He departs for 8. QG: 60/3.

Part-time wicket-keeper Evans messes it up on the final delivery as the ball goes through his legs for a four. Unbeaten 39 runs partnership off 26 balls for the ninth wicket. Powell finishes on 28 off 25, Naveen on 10 off nine. Peshawar recollected themselves towards the end. Amir goes for 35 runs without a wicket. Quetta need 197 to win this.

Hosein delivers a timely blow again. Jamal goes for 5. He was looking to cut it on the back foot but gets an edge and smart catch from Evans.
Aamer Jamal latches onto the slower delivery and creams it through extra cover for a four. He has been in good form with the bat. Peshawar go past 150. PZ: 151/5 in 14 overs.
