Visakhapatnam, Nov 19: It was advantage India as they dominated for the 2nd successive day in the 2nd Test against England here Friday (November 18).

At stumps on the 2nd day yesterday, England were stuggling at 103/5, still trailing the hosts by 352. It was an all-round performance by India as, first batsmen posted an impressive 455 and later bowlers took charge.

Captain Virat Kohli was the topscorer for India with 167. Ravichandran Ashwin proved his all-round abilities again as he struck a fine half century. India batted for 129.4 overs.

When England came into bat, Indian spinners made use of the pitch conditions. Debutant offspinner Jayant Yadav got his maiden wicket through LBW, via the Decision Review System (DRS) against Moeen Ali.

Ashwin had two wickets while Mohammed Shami bowled skipper Alastair Cook with a superb delivery, breaking the stump into two.
