With the 22-yard strip providing pace and bounce, batsmen found it difficult. West Indies were skittled out for 182 and India struggled, losing 6 wickets before captain cool MS Dhoni sealed the game in his team's favour. Paceman Mohammed Shami was adjudged Man-of-the-match for his three-wicket haul.

This was India's fourth straight win and with this they booked a spot in the quarter-finals of the tournament. India's next match is against Ireland on March 10. (Dhoni unhappy with 1 Indian player)
