Kolkata, Nov 14: It was a historic day at the iconic Eden Gardens stadium in Kolkata on Thursday (November 13) as Rohit Sharma blasted his way into record books.

Rohit's 264 set up India's 153-run thrashing of Sri Lanka in the fourth ODI last night. Rohit became the first batsman in ODI history to score two double tons and also registered the highest ever individual score in 50-over international cricket.

The Indian opener surpassed Virender Sehwag's 219 and the team amassed 404/5 in 50 overs. Sri Lanka were bowled out for 251 and India raced to a 4-0 lead in the five-match series.
