New Delhi, Feb 12: Prime Minister Narendra Modi today sent his best wishes to the Indian cricket team for the ICC World Cup 2015, which begins Saturday (February 14) in New Zealand and Australia.
Modi took to the micro-blogging site Twitter to convey his wishes to the MS Dhoni-led side, which is the defending champion at this year's tournament. (Modi calls Jadeja as 'Sir')

"As the 2015 Cricket World Cup begins, my best wishes to the Indian Cricket Team. खेलो दिल से, वर्ल्ड कप लाओ फिर से!," Modi tweeted on Thursday.
Modi, in a series of Tweets, wished each and every member of the Indian team.
For Dhoni, Modi wrote, "My best wishes to captain cool @msdhoni. Play hard, lead well and make India proud. Knowing you, I am sure you will."
Modi said entire entire had lot of hopes on Virat Kohli. "I wish out flamboyant vice captain @imVkohli the very best for the upcoming campaign. The entire nation has a lot of hopes on him."
Last year, Modi, during his visit to Australia, had posed with the World Cup trophy at Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG), which will host the final on March 29.
