Prasidh Krishan marries girlfriend Rachana; Shreyas Iyer, Jasprit Bumrah, star cricketers attend ceremony

Indian pacer Prasidh Krishna married his girlfriend Rachana Krishan in the presence of his family and friends on Wednesday, June 7. The news of Rajasthan Royals star's engagement with Rachana had emerged on Tuesday, June 6.

The marriage ceremony was attended by star India cricketers like Shreyas Iyer, Jasprit Bumrah, Mayank Agarwal and Devdutt Padikkal. Several Karnataka teammates of Kishna were also present on the special occasion. Notably Bumrah and Iyer missed out on a WTC final 2023 berth due their respective injuries.

The pictures of the traditional Kannada wedding ceremony have gone viral. Iyer, Bumrah, Agarwal and other cricketers can be seen posing with Prasidh who is standing alongside Rachana.

Notably, India and Chennai Super Kings (CSK) opener Ruturaj Gaikwad also got married on June 3 with Maharashtra cricketer Utkarsha Pawar. The right-hand batter's wedding ceremony was attended by his CSK teammate Shivam Dube.

While Gaikwad set the IPL 2023 on fire with his stellar batting, Krishna hasn't played any form of cricket since August 2022 due to a stress fracture injury in his spine. The 27-year-old made his India debut with an ODI match against England in Pune in March 2021.

He is yet to make his debut in the T20I and Test format. In the 14 ODI matches till date, Krishan has picked 25 wickets at an average of 23.92 and an economy rate of 5.32.
