Krishna and Bumrah were the two frontline pacers for India in the Ireland T20I series, while the latter also led the Indian team. Krishna and Bumrah both picked up 4 wickets in two matches as India won the rain-marred series 2-0.

After the decent outing, Krishna revealed the support he received from Jasprit Bumrah during their time together at the NCA for rehabilitation.

"Working closely with Bumrah during our recovery at the NCA has definitely been enriching. His method of executing under pressure and his ability to keep things straightforward numerous occasions is inspiring. We've learned a lot from each other, and our partnership is already yielding results," Krishna said to JioCinema.

The Karnataka pacer also gave light to the thorough approach that they took at NCA to recover fully. The 27-year-old says they concentrated more on overall well-being before the cricket side of the fitness programme, which helped them in steady recovery.

"Our sessions at the NCA were thoroughly productive. The clarity we maintained and the regular assessment of our physical and mental fitness helped us in achieving our rehabilitation goals. We initially concentrated on promoting overall well-being before transitioning into bowling practice," Krishna added.

The former Kolkata Knight Riders pacer will be hoping to make an impact in the upcoming Asia Cup as he has been picked up for the continental tournament. India have also included Jasprit Bumrah, while Mohammed Siraj, Mohammed Shami and Shardul Thakur are the other pacers.
