T20 Mumbai League 2025: North Mumbai Panthers registered their first victory of the T20 Mumbai League 2025 with a convincing five-wicket win over ARCS Andheri in Match 4 at Wankhede Stadium on Friday.
Chasing a modest target of 135, the Panthers rode on solid contributions from skipper Prithvi Shaw and opener Divyaansh Saxena to get over the line with ease. Shaw set the tone with a brisk 33 off 23 balls, peppered with some eye-catching strokes, while Saxena played the anchor role, scoring a composed 36.

The duo provided a strong start and laid the foundation for a comfortable chase. Despite a few hiccups in the middle overs, the target was never out of reach. Panthers eventually overhauled the total in 18.3 overs, finishing at 136/5. ARCS Andheri's Ajay Mishra was the pick of their bowlers with a tidy spell of 1/18, but lacked adequate support from the other end.
Earlier, ARCS Andheri were bundled out for 134 in 19.5 overs after opting to bat first. Monil Soni top-scored with 34 runs, but failed to find a reliable partner as wickets fell at regular intervals. The Panthers' bowling attack was led superbly by Pratik Suresh Mishra, who produced a match-winning spell of 4/19. His control and variations dismantled Andheri's middle order and prevented any late surge in their innings.
Despite a few starts from the ARCS Andheri batters, no one managed to push on and post a commanding total. Mishra's spell ensured the momentum stayed with the Panthers, who made full use of the conditions.
With this win, North Mumbai Panthers finally got their campaign up and running, while ARCS Andheri will need to reassess their batting depth and approach moving forward.
