Karachi Kings vs Quetta Gladiators , PSL 2024: Who Said What
Rilee Rossouw | Quetta skipper: "It's a great game of cricket, and what an innings by Rutherford and Akeal as well. Serious game of cricket. We sat down before the start of the season and spoke about the values we want to have as a team and everyone brought in the idea of how we we want to approach this season. We chased it on a tricky wicket and games like these will add more positivity to the group."
Sherfane Rutherford | Player of the Match: "It's never easy, coming in and playing shots from the get-go. I try my best, sometimes it doesn't happen but I will try my best to make it happen more. Me and Shane (Watson) had a conversation about mental part of the game, he told me to focus on the moment and stay as calm as possible."
Shan Masood | Karachi skipper: "We put ourselves in a really good position, but failed to close the game. Perhaps we dropped a few too many chances in the field. We had a good start with the bat and that allowed us that little blip in the middle overs, we didn't quite finish as well as we would have liked with the bat and I don't want to pinpoint on one particular thing.
"We had a few slip-ups and I thought the guys gave it all and a lot of hard work behind the scenes, unfortunately, we couldn't cross the line. 2 more days before we play our next game here against Multan."
