PSL 2024 match between Multan Sultans and Islamabad United was interrupted briefly at the Multan Cricket Stadium after two of the floodlights went off during the 15th over of the Islamabad innings.

The interruption lasted 5-10 minutes as floodlights were back on soon but was long enough for the players to walk out of the field. A the time of interruption, Islamabad United were batting at 104/4 in 14.1 overs with Salman Agha (28*) and Imad Wasim (0*) on the crease.

The match resumed following the brief pause as Islamabad United were eventually all out for 144 by the end of the 20th over as Abbas Afridi (3/33) and Mohammad Ali (3/19) kept a tight leash on Islamabad batters in the death overs.
