Multan Sultans vs Peshawar Zalmi, PSL 2024: Who Said What

Babar Azam | Peshawar Zalmi skipper: "Outstanding win tonight. A win like this is really needed. We wanted to score 170-180 and the batters did well to get there. Hasebullah started well and his partnership was crucial in the middle.

"Our bowlers put in their best efforts and executed well. Had we held onto our catches, it would have been a completely different ball game. We made changes to try a different combination and according to the surface."

Luke Wood | Player of the Match: "I just try to execute my plans and back myself as much as possible. We have a bit more experience in our bowling line-up today and it paid off. The surface was a bit skiddy and it stayed low on a few occasions."

Mohammad Rizwan | Multan Sultans skipper: "We always keep learning and I'm sure the whole of Pakistan would have been entertained with a game like this. We felt we could chase it down, we have made few changes to the batting order and we focus on conditions in front of us and then plan accordingly. Not too sad with the result. We will keep experimenting with a few things and focus on getting the results in our favour."
