Multan Sultans vs Quetta Gladiators, PSL 2024: Who Said What
Mohammad Rizwan | Multan captain: "We cannot be satisfied. We have won but we are not satisfied. Still a lot of work to do. We will be sad that there won't be support and love from these people but we have played in Lahore, Karachi and Pindi, it's still Pakistan only just the crowd won't be there."
Mohammad Ali | Player of the Match: "I'm trying to better my performances match to match. Rectify the mistakes from the last game. I will give credit to my performances to four-day cricket. All our legends - Wasim bhai, Waqar Younis, Shoaib Akhtar have become legends by playing four-day cricket. I will miss Multan crowd's support."
Rilee Rossouw | Quetta captain: "Think was a good game, Multan played better than us on the day. We will definitely see them again. Credit goes to Mr Shane Watson, he came in and changed things around. So far so good and hopefully we can carry this forward. We were pretty much there in the game till the last 5 overs, the wicket played really well and we were there in the game till the second-last over.
"I'm pretty happy with the way I'm striking the ball, disappointed with the way I got out today, had I been there for a couple of overs, could have been a different story but it's what it is. That's how the game goes. Congrats to Ali, he has bowled really well."
David Willey: "It's great to win being it a top of the table clash. [on the catch of Saud] Struggling with a sore knee, was hoping to get there to be to honest. The pitch here does something, it swings or seams upfront. Do the basics well - that's what I was aiming for. It's just the haze and sometimes you can't tell where the ball is. I have been here a couple of years ago, great franchise, everyone plays for the team and hopefully that continues."
