PSL 2025 Draft: Date, Timing, Venue, Live Streaming Details, Pick Order & Retained Players List

The tenth edition of the Pakistan Super League - PSL 2025 is scheduled to be held from April 8 to May 19, but before that the six franchises will look to finalize their squads in the PSL Players Draft ceremony.

All six teams have retained at least seven players each ahead of the draft. Each franchise was allowed a maximum of eight retentions from their existing squads, and three franchises made full use of the retentions except Karachi Kings, Multan Sultans and Peshawar Zalmi - who retained seven players each.

The Players Draft was originally slated to take place at the Gwadar, a port city in Balochistan, on Saturday (January 11). But the venue and the dates for the drafting process have been changed as per a release from Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB). Here is all you need to know about PSL 2025 Draft:

When and where is PSL Draft 2025 taking place?

The PCB earlier this week confirmed that the HBL PSL Player Draft has been rescheduled and will now take place on 13 January at Huzoori Bagh, Lahore fort in Lahore. PCB also added that the event has been moved from Gwadar, due to unforeseen logistical challenges.

What time is PSL 2025 Draft starting?

As per the PCB release, the players drafting process will start around 12:30 PM PKT (Local Time). In India, the draft will start a little later due to time difference with the start time set for 1 PM IST (Indian Time). In Bangladesh, the PSL Draft will start at 1:30 PM BST (Bangladesh Time).

PSL Draft live streaming will be available across the world, including India, Pakistan, Bangladesh and elsewhere, via the Pakistan Super League official YouTube channel from 12:30 PM Local Time on Monday (January 13).
