The Pakistan Super League 2026 promises high-voltage T20 action as it expands to a record eight teams for the first time. The tournament runs from March 26 to May 3, 2026, featuring 44 matches over 39 days, with each team playing 10 league games.
This season, the PSL has been expanded to 8 teams as two new teams have joined after a bidding process.

Lahore Qalandars, Karachi Kings, Quetta Gladiators, Islamabad United, Peshawar Zalmi, Multan Sultans, Hyderabad Kingsmen, Rawalpindi Pindiz.
The two new franchises, Hyderabad Kingsmen and Rawalpindi Pindiz, join after the February 11 player auction in Lahore, the first in PSL history.
Star retentions and big buys include explosive Pakistani pacers like Naseem Shah (record bid), Shaheen Shah Afridi, Shadab Khan, Babar Azam (leading Peshawar Zalmi), and Mohammad Rizwan. Overseas talents such as Daryl Mitchell, David Warner, Glenn Maxwell, and others add firepower, creating balanced squads packed with batting depth and death-over specialists.
The season opener pits Lahore Qalandars against Hyderabad Kingsmen on March 26 at Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore. Match 2 on March 27 sees Quetta Gladiators versus Karachi Kings, also in Lahore. Early fixtures focus on Lahore, with double-headers common; the revised schedule distributes 22 matches each to Lahore at Gaddafi Stadium and Karachi at the National Bank Stadium.
