The Pakistan Super League (PSL) returns for its 11th edition in 2026, and it promises to be the biggest season in the tournament's history. For the very first time, the league has expanded from six to eight franchises, welcoming the Hyderabad Kingsmen and Rawalpindi side into the fold.

However, this season arrives with unique challenges. Due to the ongoing fuel crisis and regional conflicts in West Asia, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced that all 44 matches will be restricted exclusively to Lahore and Karachi. Furthermore, the matches will be played behind closed doors without a live crowd to conserve critical resources. Despite these hurdles, the sheer amount of world-class talent on display guarantees absolute fireworks on the pitch.
