Pakistan Super League (PSL) started recognizing the wicketkeepers alongside the batters and bowlers from the second season of the T20 tournament, organized by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).
The top run-getter of the edition received a green cap and a Hanif Mohammad award, while the highest wicket-taker of the season bagged a maroon cap and a Fazal Mahmood award. The best wicketkeeper, however, has received the Imtiaz Ahmed award at the end of the tournament.

Imtiaz Ahmed award, named after the second-ever Pakistani stumper, is given to the wicketkeeper, who has executed most dismissals during the PSL season from the second edition of the tournament.
While PCB-organized T20 league started in 2016, the awards were introduced from the 2017 edition onwards. Current Multan Sultans wicketkeeper Mohammad Rizwan has bagged the award the most times. He even finished the inaugural edition as the best wicketkeeper.
Rizwan has won the award for three seasons in a row now with Azam Khan, Kamran Akmal, Kumar Sangakkara, Luke Ronchi and Ben Dunk being the other recipients of the post-tournament award, which is given after the PSL final. Here is a look at the best wicketkeepers in every season of PSL:
