PSL Match Result: The PSL 2024 match 26 between Karachi Kings and Lahore Qalandars finished with a win for Karachi Kings over Lahore Qalandars by three wickets at the National Stadium in Karachi on Saturday evening (March 09).

They still have an outside chance to qualify for the playoffs as they have secured eight points out of nine games. It was a massive win for Karachi Kings as they are still hunting for playoff qualification.

They are still in the 5th position on the table but with eight points and one more game in their hands, they have a probability to qualify. Irfan Khan scored the Player of the Match for his match-winning knock (35 off 16 balls) down the order and his athletic abilities in the field.

Shoaib Malik played an age-defying inning (27 not out of 17 balls) and took his side over the line. Shaheen and Zaman bowled brilliantly in the death overs but couldn't restrict the Kings as they were 10-15 runs short. Tayyab Abbas (2/23) was the pick of the bowlers for Lahore.

Karachi Kings won the toss and asked Lahore Qalandars to put runs on the board. Karachi's bowlers kept it tight in the powerplay as Lahore scored 44-1. But Fakhar Zaman (54 off 35 balls) got the things going for Qalandars and found his long last form. Shafique played his part and conjured up a fifty.

However, the Lahore team must be disappointed as Zaman and Shafique got out when Lahore Qalandars were supposed to go hard at the bowlers. But Zaman was dismissed by a phenomenal direct hit by Irfan Khan and Shafique fell to Muzarabani. Still, Raza and Wiese's quick cameos towards the end helped their side to put up a target of 177. Zahid Mahmood (2/27) was the pick of the bowlers for Karachi.

Vince gets Karachi off to a flier as they scored 58 for not after the powerplay. Tayyab Abbas got out Vince (42 runs off 27 balls) right after the powerplay. Then Seifert and Masood took the innings forward but fell early. At last, Malik and Irfan got together and brought the game home in this see-saw battle between Karachi Kings and Lahore Qalandars.
