PSL Match Result: The PSL 2024 match 19 between Karachi Kings and Multan Sultans finished with an enthralling win and qualification for the playoffs for Multan Sultans by 20 runs, propelled by Usama Khan's century at the National Stadium in Karachi on Sunday (March 03).
Usman Khan's brilliant century helped Multan Sultans post a match-winning total of 189-3 (20 overs). The player of the match, Usman scored an unbeaten 106 runs off 59 balls. The skipper Rizwan scored 58 off 44 balls, played his part and dropped anchor from the other end.

Muzarabani was the stand-out bowler for Karachi as he picked up 2/32. They have been the team to beat and now qualified as well. Shan Masood (36 off 29 balls) and Shoaib Malik (38 off 28 balls) tried to put up a fight but fell short. Karachi must have really missed Pollard today. Once again, Multan's bowlers were exceptional. Usama Mir took 2/29 and was the highest wicket-taker.
Multan Sultans won the toss and decided to put up a target for Karachi Kings. Sultans lost an easy wicket in the form of Reeza Hendricks (highest run-scorer for Multan). However, Usman Khan came one down to bat and attacked the bowlers from the word go as they managed to score 50-1 in the powerplay.
Rizwan and Usman formed the match-winning partnership for the second wicket as the pair added 148 runs. After scoring fifty, Rizwan was dismissed by Muzarabani. Usman kept bantering the bowlers till the end and got to the century, remaining not out. Muzarabani was the pick of the bowlers for Karachi as he picked up a couple of wickets.
Conversely, Karachi needed a big start but Tim Seifert got run-out and James Vince fell early to Chris Jordan. Masood and Malik looked good but couldn't capitalise on their start and got out without scoring big. They never got any momentum as wickets kept falling at regular intervals. Nawaz and Hasan played some good shots in the later phase but it was too big of a task for them. Multan has qualified for the playoffs as well with this win.
