PSL Match Result: The PSL 2024 match 4 between Lahore Qalandars and Quetta Gladiators resulted in a spectacular win of Quetta Gladiators by five wickets at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore on Monday (February 24)
The Gaddafi Stadium pitch was full of runs today as well. Where Quetta Gladiators easily chased down a total of 187 runs at the loss of five wickets. The real star of today's chase was the young talent Khawaja Nafay, who scored 60 not out of 31 balls.

The second-highest scorer for Gladiators was Saud Shakeel, scoring 40 runs off 23 balls. Akeal Hosein and Mohammad Hasnain were the only bowlers who took more than one wicket in the entire match. The pitch was paradise for the batters.
After winning the toss, Lahore Qalandars decided to set the target. Qalandar's started cautiously, as they lost Fakahar Zaman very early in the game, scoring (43/1) in the first six overs. Sahibzada Farhan's (62 runs off 43 balls) knock gave much-needed momentum to their run-scoring.
Then, down the order, Jahandad Khan's (45 runs off 17 balls) cameo helped Lahore Qanlandars put up 187/7 on the board. Quetta Gladiators came out with a clear plan for the chase. Both, Jason Roy and Saud Shakeel went after the bowlers, scoring (61/0) within six overs. However, the real deal, Khawaja Nafay came after the departure of Shakeel. The youngster saw the game out thoroughly, remaining not out.
Yet another match, where there wasn't much competition between the bat and ball. So far, we've been seeing a trend in the early stages of the PSL ninth edition, where batters are dominating the games in one-sided affairs mostly. Fans are eager and hopeful to see more edge-of-the-seat thrillers in the upcoming games.
