PSL Playoffs Record: Which Team Has Won Most Matches in Knockout Stages of Pakistan Super League?

The Pakistan Super League Season 9 - PSL 2024 has reached the climax stage as four teams booked their berths in the playoffs, which is scheduled to be held from March 14 to March 18.

The playoffs in PSL have been held since the inception of the tournament back in 2016. A total of four matches - Qualifier, Eliminator 1, Eliminator 2 and the Final, is played in the PSL playoffs stage.

The top two sides clash in Qualifier, where the winner heads directly to the final, while the loser gets a second shot at reaching the final via the Eliminator 2, where they will take on the winners of Eliminator 1, which will be contested by the third and fourth placed sides.

In season 9, Multan Sultans defeated second-placed team Peshawar Zalmi in the Qualifier to reach the final directly, while Babar Azam's Peshwar have another shot at making the summit clash via the Eliminator 2, where they will face Islamabad United, who defeated Quetta Gladiators in Eliminator 1.

Which team has reached the PSL final most?

In the eight seasons so far, all the six teams have tasted victory in the final. Among the four who have qualified for the 2024 playoffs, the inaugural champions Islamabad United has won the PSL trophy most, having been crowned champions twice.

Multan Sultans, Peshawar Zalmi and Quetta Gladiators have all won the title once, while the Karachi Kings and Lahore Qalandars, who failed to reach the playoffs this season, have also won the title one and two times respectively.

Peshawar Zalmi have reached the final most, having also finished runners up three times in addition to being crowned champions once. Quetta Gladiators and Multan Sultans also have reached the final three times each along with two-time champions Lahore Qalandars.
