Zimbabwe all-rounder Sikandar Raza has formally reported an incident of alleged racial abuse during a recent Vigne Cup fixture, urging the Harare Metropolitan Cricket Association (HMCA) to take decisive action.
The episode reportedly unfolded on June 1 at the Old Hararians Sports Club, where Raza was representing Old Hararians against Rainbow Cricket Club.

According to a report by ESPNcricinfo, Raza has named a coach from the opposition team as the perpetrator, accusing him of making racially offensive remarks as the veteran cricketer walked off the field. The HMCA has been approached for comment, but is yet to issue a public statement.
Raza has called for a thorough probe and appropriate disciplinary measures if the allegations are substantiated. "This isn't just about me," Raza emphasised to the publication.
"A strong stance must be taken so such behaviour is not repeated-not now, and not for future generations," he added.
The incident came during a dominant on-field performance by Raza, who hammered 78 from 56 deliveries to help Old Hararians post a formidable 402 for 9. Rainbow Cricket Club, in response, fell short by 142 runs under the DLS method, ending on 225 for 8 in 39 overs.
Beyond domestic duties, Raza continues to impress on the franchise circuit. He recently played a pivotal role in Lahore Qalandars' PSL triumph, sealing victory with the winning runs in a high-octane final. The PSL crown marked his second T20 franchise title of the year, following earlier success in the ILT20.
