Pujara hit record 386 runs in C K Nayudu Trophy

Rajkot, Oct 14 (UNI) Saurashtra captain Cheteshwar Pujara slammed a record breaking 386 runs in a four-day league match of C K Nayudu Trophy (under-22) tournament between Mahrashtra and Saurashtra.

The match ended in a draw yesterday.

Saurashtra secured three points by virtue of first innings lead.

Pujara's knock came in 696 minutes, while he faced 448 balls and executed 38 fours and five sixes.

Brief score: Maharashtra First Innings: 368 all out in 145.2 Overs / 603 minutes. (S Ajitkar 120; A Joshi 89 not out N Paradkar 42; Balkrishna Jadeja 27 / 5; Dev Odedara 67 / 2).

Saurashtra First Innings: 546/8 in 168 Overs / 705 minutes.

(Cheteshwar Pujara 386; Ravindra Jadeja 72) Saurashtra gained 1st Innings lead of 178 runs.

Maharashtra Second Innings: 50/2 in 27 Overs / 128 minutes.
