Tournament Format
The Celebrity Cricket League (CCL) follows a round-robin format, where all teams compete against each other before advancing to the knockout stage, which consists of two semifinals.
In 2023, the league introduced a revamped structure inspired by Test cricket. Under this format, each match consists of four innings, with teams getting two innings of 10 overs each. If Team A wins the toss and chooses to bat first, Team B will chase the target set in the first innings. After that, Team A returns to bat for their second innings, and Team B must then pursue the combined total of both innings to secure victory.
