The Punjab Cricket Association (PCA) is set to launch the Punjab Premier League (PPL) 2026 in June, rebranding and revamping Punjab's domestic T20 cricket scene.
This exciting new format promises high-stakes action with franchise-owned teams and an auction system exclusively for Punjab-registered players.

PPL 2026 boasts top Indian talents as marquee players, including Shubman Gill, Abhishek Sharma, and pace ace Arshdeep Singh. Other seasoned Punjab stars like Ramandeep Singh, Nehal Wadhera, Naman Dhir, Anmolpreet Singh, and Prabhsimran Singh are expected to join them. Rising sensation Vihaan Malhotra from the India U-19 squad adds fresh promise.
The league emphasizes balance, giving Punjab Under-23 players a platform alongside veterans. Emerging domestic and IPL performers such as Mayank Markande, Ashwani Kumar, Gurnoor Brar, Harnoor Singh, Raman Dhir, Harpreet Brar, Salil Arora, and Raghu Sharma will compete, injecting competitiveness and talent depth into Punjab's T20 league.
All players enter a PPL player auction with tiered price slabs, allowing teams to bid strategically. Six franchise teams will battle it out, with Punjab's leading business houses and corporates vying for ownership in this flagship domestic T20 tournament.
