Bengaluru, July 5: As India gear up for the Test series against the West Indies this month, team's new head coach Anil Kumble will face the fans today (July 5) in a Twitter question and answer session.

The offical Twitter handle of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), invited fans across the globe to send in their queries to Kumble. (I love Kohli's aggression: Kumble)

"Send in your queries for @anilkumble1074 with #AskTheCoach. The #TeamIndia coach will go LIVE at 4 PM IST today," a tweet from BCCI said on Tuesday. This will be the first ever interaction with fans by the new coach.

On June 23, the 45-year-old Kumble was appointed as the chief coach of the Indian team. He pipped Ravi Shastri.

Kumble's first assignment with the team will be the tour of the Caribbean where India play 4 Tests against West Indies. The first Test starts in Antigua on July 21.

The 17-man Indian Test squad, led by Virat Kohli were put through their paces by Kumble at a preparatory camp in Bengaluru. The camp concluded yesterday (July 4) at the National Cricket Academy (NCA).

After the tour of the Caribbean, Indian team will play 13 Tests at home. New Zealand, Bangladesh, England and Australia will be touring India.
