New Zealand batter Rachin Ravindra has become only the 2nd batter in the history of the game to accomplish an excellent record in World Cups.
The Kiwi southpaw scored an eye-catching century against Pakistan on Saturday in a crucial World Cup 2023 match, and thus have breached the 500-run mark in World Cups.

By scoring more than 500 runs, Ravindra now becomes the second batter in history to score more than five hundred runs on his debut World Cup campaign.
None of the previous stalwarts could breach the 500 mark in the past and it was only in the 2019 World Cup when Jonny Bairstow scored 532 runs, which was also his maiden World Cup campaign.
The 23-year-old batter has so far scored 523 runs in this World Cup. He is averaging over 74 and has already racked up three centuries. The opening batter scored his first century against England in the very first match of the tournament, and then scored consecutive centuries against South Africa and Pakistan.
India legend Sachin Tendulkar has scored the most number of runs in a World Cup edition, when he scored 673 runs in World Cup 2003.
