The surname Dravid sits high in the world of cricket and the surname generally visualizes a sturdy person sweating bowlers out with his robust batting.
Rahul Dravid, the India legend, hung up his boots more than a decade ago and is currently at the helm with the Indian men's senior team head coach. But ever associated the name Dravid with fast bowling?

Although it may be hard to imagine, Rahul Dravid's son Samit Dravid has turned out to be a fast bowler and doing his bits for Karnataka in the Cooch Behar Trophy.
Cooch Behar Trophy is a tournament for U-19 cricketers and Samit's state Karnataka is playing Mumbai in the Final. And in the final, Samit has showcased his class with a fine display of bowling against Mumbai, picking up two wickets in the process.
He took the crucial wicket of Ayush Sachin Vartak who was batting brilliantly, and then rattled the stumps of Pratek Yadav. Samit rolled his arms for 19 overs, picking those two wickets for 60 runs.
The youngster was seen bowling at full throttle and he was pretty accurate with his line and length as well. Dravid's two wickets did wonders for Karnataka, as they wrapped up Mumbai's last four wickets for just 38 runs.
Rahul Dravid recently said he doesn't try to coach his son on cricket as it is difficult to be both a parent and a coach.
"I don't coach my son Samit as it is difficult to play two roles. I am happy to be a father. I don't know what I am doing in that role also," Dravid said on JioCinema.
Former Karnataka and India player Dodda Ganesh also heaped praises on Samit Dravid's bowling on social media.
