Rahul Dravid's son Samit Dravid scored 98 runs off 159 balls in Karnataka's Cooch Behar Trophy match against Jammu and Kashmir (J&K) at the Hostel Ground Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association (JKCA).
The innings from the right-hand batter consisted of 13 fours and a six. The knock helped Karnataka post 480/5 in 100 overs and win the match by an innings and 130 runs.

Samit also bowled 11 overs in the first innings to give away 25 runs and pick two wickets. In the second innings, he picked one wicket for 26 runs in five overs.

Earlier, Rahul Dravid and his wife Vijeta were spotted at their son Samit's Cooch Behar Trophy match against Uttarakhand at Mysuru's SDNRW Ground. Dravid, who will be soon joining the Indian Test team in South Africa, is on a break after India's 2023 World Cup campaign.
In the match against Uttar Pradesh, Samit scored 28 runs off 54 balls in the first innings, and 28 off 54 in the second innings. He picked one wicket in the second innings. Uttar Pradesh won that match by 92 runs.
In Karnataka's first match of the ongoing Youth First-Class tournament, Samit scored 51 off 122 balls in the only innings against Delhi and also picked two wickets. After four wins and a defeat, Karnataka have qualified for the quarter-final of the Cooch Behar Trophy 2023.
