The much-awaited Ram Mandir consecration took place at the holy Ayodhya Dham on Monday (January 22).
The auspicious day saw the Pran Prathistha of Lord Rama at his own birthplace in Ayodhya and the Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi was at the forefront of the entire proceeding.

Millions of people gathered at the holy event and the top-notch of the society were invited to witness the Ram Mandir Pran Prathistha.
According to reports, over 500 celebrity guests were invited who belong to sports, film industry and various other sectors. Among the guests, around over 150 were sportspersons and many of the eminent names were present on the day.
India legend Sachin Tendulkar was present at the event. He was at the venue for the entirety of the day and was devoted to the prayers on the holy day. Former India cricketers Anil Kumble, Venkatesh Prasad were also there.
Current India star Ravindra Jadeja was along with his wife at the event. Ex-India women's cricket team captain Mithali Raj was also among the invitees and attended Ayodhya on the day. Among others, badminton star Saina Nehwal, former sprinter PT Usha were the other sportspersons who made it to the venue.
There were other high-profile names expected, but the likes of MS Dhoni, Virat Kohli didn't attend the event. Both Dhoni and Kohli got invitations but decided to skip on the day. Former India captain Sourav Ganguly was also expected but was not seen.
Along with that, former India player and BJP MP Gautam Gambhir was another major miss at the event.
