Ranji: Railway pip Vidarbha

Indore, Feb 18 (UNI) J P Yadav's lethal deliveries helped Railways humble Vidarbha by nine wickets and scoring five points, including a bonus point, in a Central Zone Ranji Trophy one-day league match here today.

After winning the toss, Railways elected to field. Vidarbha crumbled for 104 in 29.4 overs. Yadav scalped four batsmen for a mere 26 runs while Santosh Saxena, Sanjay Bangar and Sanjeev Sanyal took two each. For Vidarbha, Sameer Khare (22) was the sole batsmen to cross the 20-run mark.

The railwaymen reached 105 in 14.3 overs, aided by T P Singh (59 not out) and Yadav (34 not out).
