The upcoming Ranji Trophy season, set to begin on October 10, marks the 90th edition of India's premier first-class cricket tournament. The 2024-25 season will introduce a restructured format designed to enhance competition and provide greater opportunities for teams to move between divisions. Thirty-two Elite category teams are split into eight groups. Two teams with the highest points from each group will progress into the quarter-finals.
