Ranji Trophy 2024, the Indian premier domestic competition, is all set to begin with the league stage on January 5, 2024 and conclude with the final after a 70-day season on March 14, 2024.
The tournament founded in 1935 will see 38 teams participate in it's current iteration. Among the 38, 32 teams will be divided into 4 groups, forming the Elite Groups and the remaining six in the Plate Group.

The league stage matches will be played across venues of different states, while the knock out round venues will be picked when the tournament reaches that stage later this year.
Now, let's take a look at the groups, start time of matches, telecast and live streaming info for the 2023/24 season Ranji Trophy as the broadcast rights changed hands last year.
The Ranji Trophy matches like last season will start at 9:30 AM IST with the toss taking place 30 minutes in advance at 9 AM IST. All the league stage matches will be played in a four-day format, while the knock out rounds will be contested as five-day matches.
Viacom18 bagged the broadcast rights for Indian cricket in 2023, beating off Star Sports. So, select matches will be shown across their network in India.
The Sports 18 Channels will broadcast the tournament live on TV in India, but please note that not all the matches will be available for live telecast.
The Ranji Trophy 2024 live streaming of select matches will be available for free on Jio Cinema app and website. Like the live telecast on TV, not all matches will be available for live streaming.
