Karnataka qualified convincingly, drawing their semifinal against Uttarakhand in Lucknow but advancing on a commanding first-innings lead. They posted 736 in the first innings, powered by Devdutt Padikkal's 232, KL Rahul's 141, and Ravichandran Smaran's 135. Uttarakhand replied with 233, then Karnataka declared their second innings at 323 for 6 (Smaran 127, Rahul 70*), setting an improbable 827 target. The match ended with Uttarakhand at 260 for 6, giving Karnataka progression by a massive 503-run first-innings margin.
Jammu & Kashmir stunned Bengal in the other semifinal at Kalyani, winning by six wickets despite trailing on first innings. Bengal scored 328, but Auqib Nabi's 5 for 87 restricted Jammu & Kashmir to 302. Bengal collapsed to 99 in their second innings and then the Northern side won the match comfortably by six wickets.
