Ranji Trophy Final 2025: Last year's runners up Vidarbha will lock horns with first-time finalists Kerala in the Ranji Trophy 2024/25 season title clash after the two semi-final matches were wrapped up on Friday (February 21).
Kerala, who entered the semi-final only for the second time in their history, continued their dream run to seal their maiden final appearance following a draw against Gujarat, while Vidarbha avenged 2024 final loss to oust Mumba and reach their second successive final.

Kerala in fact, sealed their maiden Ranji Trophy final by taking a dramatic two-run first-innings lead over Gujarat, ending a 68-year wait to reach the title clash in Indian cricket's premier domestic competition.
Going into the final day at 429/7, Gujarat needed just 29 runs to take a first innings lead, but left-arm spinner Aditya Sarwate delivered under pressure, taking all three wickets to bowl Gujarat out for 455 in 174.4 overs.
Vidarbha, on the other hand, overcame Mumbai by 80 runs to seal their fourth Ranji Trophy final. Shardul Thakur once again led a late rearguard effort from Mumbai, but left-arm spinner Harsh Dubey stole the limelight with a brilliant five-wicket haul to seal the contest.
As mentioned earlier, this will be Kerala's first Ranji Trophy final appearance and the fourth title clash for Vidarbha, who won the trophy in 2017-18 and 2018-19 seasons, but lost the summit clash in 2023-24 season.
