Mysuru, Oct 21: Virender Sehwag might have bid adieu to international cricket and Indian Premier League (IPL) but his fans can still watch him in action, in the Ranji Trophy.

In the first match after his retirement, Sehwag will pad up to bat for Haryana as they face defending champions Karnataka in Mysuru from tomorrow (October 22). From Delhi, Sehwag moved to Haryana this season.
Sehwag announced his retirement from international cricket and IPL yesterday (October 21). Soon after his decision, current and former cricketers took to social media to hail the Indian opener's achievements at the international cricket.
It was Sehwag's 37th birthday on Tuesday and he brought the curtains down on a superb international career which saw over 17,000 runs being scored.
Now, after all the focus on his retirement, he has to regroup and captain Haryana at the Srikantadatta Narasimraja Wadiyar Stadium (Gangothri Glades) from Thursday.
The fans in Mysuru will be delighted to welcome the "Nawab of Najafgarh". They will be hoping to see the Sehwag of the old.
Haryana team, which reached Mysuru last night, practised on Wednesday morning. Sehwag was expected to join his team-mates in the evening today.
