Ravichandran Ashwin has become only the 3rd Indian player to have 700+ international wickets.
The off-spinner reached the milestone during the first innings of the first Test between India and West Indies on Wednesday. He also becomes the fastest bowler to complete 700 wickets in international cricket.

Ashwin had 697 scalps before the start of the Test match. But in the first innings, he picked up Tagenarine Chanderpaul to give India the breakthrough. This also made Ashwin the first bowler to pick up wickets of a father-son duo, having picked up Tagenarine's father Shivnarine Chanderpaul during his playing days.
Ashwin then got West Indies skipper Kraig Brathwaite, and then got the 700th wicket as Alzarri Joseph fell to his bowling.
Jaydev Unadkat completed the catch to send Joseph packing as Ashwin now holds the record of the quickest to get to 700 or more wickets. At the time of writing, he has 701 international scalps to his name, as he added to his tally by picking up debutant Alick Athanaze.
The 36-year-old Chennai-born bowler has 478 wickets in 93 Tests so far. Along with it, he also has 151 ODI wickets and 72 T20I wickets in 113 and 65 matches respectively.
Ashwin has 32 five-wicket hauls in Test matches and his best figures in an innings is 7 for 59.

Ravichandran Ashwin became the 3rd Indian to reach the milestone, breaching the 700 mark. Apart from Ashwin, two other spinners from India are ahead in the list. Harbhaja Singh has 711 wickets to his name, while leading the pack is former India captain Anil Kumble with 956 international wickets in his career.
