With India's busy Test season approaching, Ravichandran Ashwin's wife Prithi is back posting cricket stories on her Instagram handle. India would be playing 10 Test matches in the next four months, and the red-ball action will be kicking off for Rohit Sharma's men with the first Test against Bangladesh in Chennai from September 19.
Ravichandran Ashwin will be playing a match for India for the first time after March this year. He was India's leading wicket-keeper in the Test series against England. The veteran off-spinner picked 26 wickets in five matches.

The 37-year-old is now gearing up to play his first Test match at his home ground Chepauk (MA Chidambaram Stadium). His last outing in Chennai came back in 2021 when he picked a five-wicket haul against England in the first innings, and three in the second.
Prithi Narayan posted a picture of Ashwin, apparently leaving his home for Chepauk in the Indian cricket team practice kit, and captioned the image - "Chennai, Test match feelings are coming right?" Here is the picture:

India will be playing their first Test match under head coach Gautam Gambhir. Former South Africa pacer Morne Morkel has also joined Team India as the new bowling coach.
The series will also witness wicketkeeper-batter Rishabh Pant make his return to Test cricket after almost 21 months. Jasprit Bumrah will also return to action for the first time after helping India win the T20 World Cup 2024. Further, KL Rahul is also making his comeback to Test cricket after missing the final four Tests against England earlier this year due to a quadriceps injury.
